Multiple-surface machining centre equipped with rotating spindle head
The inverted spindle design is effective for high volume production applications that make large volumes of machined chips. The moving headstock directly picks up workpieces from a work conveyor eliminating the requirement of a gantry robot. High efficiency machining can be realised thanks to the 40HP, 3300 rpm high performance spindle. The IVS-400 is equipped with a 12-tool high speed drum turret designed for minimum tool interference.
